What is CHARISMA? To be honest with you I had to check on the internet to be sure what is mean.

On Wikipedia, I find this definition: “ Charisma (/kəˈrɪzmə/) is compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others “

Now I intend to tell you a small story, about me and the team from my work. Like I told you before, I work in constructions and we just finished the day work. We were around 8 guys, waiting for the train in Tottenham Court Road station.

Charisma — Shades of Romeo

Waiting for the Central line to come to Liverpool Street station. We stay at the end of the platform. We already know in that place we have a better chance to get some free seats on the train.

Lucky us, the coach was almost empty and all of us we get the seats. In my ambition to exercise my English, I have a book with me in the backpack. All the time when I go or come back from work I read on the train. Now, my work team, they start to make some jokes about me. You know the type of jokes between friends. Some good some bad, we are not perfects, as long we have limits with the jokes it is ok.

In Holborn station, more people come inside the coach. Door closing and the train start to move. I was sitting right in the middle of the coach, and a lady just came inside and she was standing up in front of me. In the next moment, I just sow the lady taking off her shoes. You don’t need to be a genius to know this is a sign that she is tied and her legs hurting her.

I try to be polite and I offer her my seat. She thanked me with a beautiful smile. Honestly, I was feeling tied to after 10 hours of work in construction. I just find an opportune moment to “show off” to the guys from my work team. I look at the guys and I told them in Roumania language that some times it is nice to be a gentleman. Anyway, I was feeling proud of what I have I done in front of them.

Charisma — Giveaway Flowers

In St. Poul station more people came inside the coach. I can’t say that was charisma or not but what’s happing in the nest moments was great. Fist person how came inside it was an old man with a stick. Next moment I saw the guy who sits on the first seat just offering his seat to him. O… that is nice, I told my self in my mind.

I start reading the book without seeing to good the person how came close to me. She was holding the bar next to me. How she was holding the bar I had the feeling for a second is something strange with this person. I lift up my eyes from the book and I try to look at her. In the next moment, I saw her chest badge with “baby on board”. It was easy now to understand that she was a pregnant woman.

Next second the guy from our team behind her, offer her the seat. In my soul, I start to smile. It is nice to be nice.

What is happing here? It is karma or charisma? What was happing in the last 5 minutes? It is hard to find an answer, but the feeling inside me was big and great.

It was the same feeling when I offer flowers for free on the streets. Offering flowers for free on the streets is the chance to change people’s day. You see the people smile. Some will say that this is charisma. I can not say that. Charisma for me sounds like a big word.

My actions offering flowers on the streets started like a hobby. After that, I decided to transform into a clothing brand. Shades of Romeo is the name of the brand.

I believe charisma is that good energy that you have a chance to send it to others. In that way, you make their day better. Even when you bring a smile on their faces with a small joke.

We all have some moments in our life when you wish to make donations or to help someone.

Recently I read something on the internet, “ to help a person only if they ask you”. They said something about the bad energy from they will come to you. I totally disagree with that. Of course, I just could not stay back and say nothing. I just let some comments and sound like that:

-Did you help a poor old person on the streets with some money? even if they did not ask for it? It is like a small donation too.

-Did you help someone at the stairs, what they have a baby stroller?

-What about the seats in public transport? It is classic, it is true but did you ever did it?

-What about to open the door and let the other person be first? It is a nice gesture, it is true? of course, it is and is nice to be nice.

In my idea to help someone is … hard what I try to explain. You just not gonna do it for them. You are doing that for you. It is true, sometimes I have a bad day and I don’t want to be polite, I’m too tired from work ore I have some other problems on my head.

You have to believe me, that in my soul I did not feel good. In the next few seconds, I start to feel shaming my self.

But believe me, in the next few minutes, I just start to regret my self how stupid I can be. And I feel like I’m shaming my self. It was not like I was capable to help that person. Suppose to be a nice gesture, and that’s all. Just a small gesture.

We all have to be agree, that you have a big chance to become an enemy with your friends. If you borrow them with money. This is a different type of story. That is not any donation and of course, they are not trusted, friends.

All right, but this article supposed to be about donations. When you make a donation you have to be happy. Happiness and donations are working together. All you need to think is about the happiness that to create it with your donation.
You can donate almost everything. I say almost everything, we have to accept that, there are some limits, even when you make a donation.

A story about a small donation

Me, I’m not the kind of person who would give (donation) money on the streets. We need to understand that there are many people, which make a business asking for money on the streets. Those persons are good for work, but they prefer to wait for your donations, asking for money.
I remember one day I was coming from work. It was behind the Ilford train station. I was heading to the shop to buy my regular food. One guy behind me was running to me, and he starts to talk.

I’m 1,83 cm tall, but that guy was bigger than me. He has a white and clean shirt on him. Also clean pants too. After his look, he was not a street man.
First thing in my mind It was, if you try to hit me I will hit you too. And I was ready… but everything changes in one second. I sow the guy face, it was not a violent face. It was sweating on the face, and his facial expression was scared one, and also sad.

He cam close to me and start talking to me:
“ Hi man, usually I’m not doing this, but please can you help me with 5 pounds. Please man, I really need it”.
I was watching him and I told him no. In my mind, I was thinking that I have 10 pounds all my cash. What about my food for today. You are bigger than me and good to work.
I just left that person behind me, and I was going to the food shop. To the shop, it was like 150 meters. The bus station was near too, and it was a street corner.

All this road I was thinking about the guy. He asked me for some money. If I give some money on the streets, I have my criteria. Usually, I like to make a donation to old people, ore people who need the money but they can not work. This guy was something strange about him.

I get in front of the shop and I stop there. The person was at the bus station. I take that 10 pounds what I have it in my pocket and I go to him.
Take it, bro, and I give the money to him. At that moment I saw the surprise and happiness on his face. He touches me on my shoulder and told me: “Thank you, you help me a lot man. Where you from? you are Polish?”. “No man I’m from Romania”. Thank you, you help me a lot, God bless you, friend.” And I left him at the bus station.

Of course, after I give hin the money, after that I just go to the cash machine across the road. Take another 10 pounds, to buy some food for me.
I was thinking about my gest, it was ok to give the money to that guy or not? Anyway, I was happy and I was feeling good. It was not 100% full happiness inside me but in my heart… I told my self that the guy really needs my help. 10 pounds was like small donations but in the end, I feel it good.

Before to give him the money I was watching the person. He was sitting in the bus station and he was not asking for money for other persons. He just sitting there and he looks like he was waiting for me. Maybe it was karma.

That was one of my little stories, about giving away money on the streets. We cannot call it a donation, but this article what I write is about donations.

My obsession with women clothing

Ok, I have to admit that I’m not a fashion creator, or before to start my business clothing, I did not put too many accents on the item what women wear it. But now, because I want to sell something that women are wearing, what type of women clothing are interested, I have to take a closer look at the streets about what women are wearing.

I was so happy when I saw a woman wearing a top. That top looked almost like mine. Especially mine have the logo on the chest. In my opinion, a top with the Shades of Romeo logo … is wonderful. A hand offering a rose. It’s wonderful, it’s true because in many businesses begging is very difficult. But it will be ok for me. Inside, I feel great when I think of women’s clothing, with my logo on it.
